Intro

Draft42 is a service for publishing personal websites using knowledge base apps as content sources. You write and organize content in your favorite app — we turn it into a live site.

Currently, Draft42 works with Obsidian. You write in Obsidian, the Draft42 plugin syncs your content, and you manage the site from a web dashboard — domains, appearance, and publishing.

Who it's for

Anyone who wants to build a content-driven site — bloggers, developers, writers. If you already keep your thoughts in Obsidian, Draft42 lets you publish them straight from your vault — no copying content between apps, no manual formatting, no export/import dance.

How it works

  1. Write in Obsidian — blog posts, documentation, book, whatever fits your site.
  2. Preview to see how it looks before going public.
  3. Publish to make it live.

Your site is fully customizable — fonts, colors, logos, custom domains — all managed through the site configurator.
